I've been using the original by Al Marlowe whenever I need insights into the Flat Tops Wilderness Area, where my three mystery novels -- "Antler Dust," "Buried by the Roan" and "Trapline" -- are set.

This is a fine update of the original publication. The photographs in this edition are a vast improvement.
